Bishop James P. Powers receives a check for $2,500 from Pat Becker, New Richmond, who presented it on behalf of the State Knights of Columbus Council. The check represents a portion of the proceeds from the Knights of Columbus’ annual Tootsie Roll sale. The Diocese of Superior has used the annual gift to offer learning opportunities to students with special needs and to provide resources for teachers and volunteers who work with them.
