The Knights of Columbus held a math and spelling Knowledge Contest during Catholic Schools Week, Jan. 29 through Feb. 4. The competition consisted of a local-level contest at St. Joseph School, Rice Lake; a district-level competition at Our Lady of Sorrows School, Ladysmith; and a state-level contest at Assumption High School, Wisconsin Rapids. St. Joseph School was represented in the state competition by four students: Laurel Wagner, eighth grade, math; Abby Dykstra, seventh grade, spelling; Kole Klemme, seventh grade, math; and Ashley Von Arx, fifth grade, spelling.
