On Sunday, March 3, more than 100 people with special needs, family and friends were treated to an afternoon of dancing and pizza at Holy Family Catholic Church, Woodruff.

The event was sponsored by the Fr. Dodge Council 7827 from Woodruff. Pizzas were donated by Domino’s, and the Knights provided desserts and ice cream. A local DJ, Larry Dunst, played music from 1-3:30 p.m.

This is the Fr. Dodge Council’s third dance, and each on has been more successful, with attendees of all ages coming from Eagle River, Rhinelander, Tomahawk, Merrill and the Lakeland area.

Bob Link and Ray Knapstein, organizers, commented on much fun the dance was for everyone, including the Knights. Two dances are planned for every year; the next will be in October, as a Halloween party.
