A new director will lead Black River Industries, Inc., a community rehabilitation program serving Taylor County residents with intellectual disabilities.
Amber Fallos brings 12 years of experience with direct management and human service organizations, most recently as the director of Taylor County Human Services.
A Wisconsin native, Fallos has a bachelor’s degree in social work and master’s degrees in education guidance and counseling and community counseling.
“This is an exciting opportunity,” Fallos said. “I have a great appreciation for the good work of Catholic Charities Bureau and the many services, programs, and employment opportunities Black River Industries provides in helping men and women with intellectual and other disabilities.”
Fallos succeeds Paul Thornton, who is retiring after 37 years with Black River Industries, an affiliate of the Diocese of Superior Catholic Charities Bureau.
