Fish fry, Ashland
Our Lady of the Lake, Ashland, holds a fish fry at their social hall, 4-7 p.m. Menu includes fresh, deep-friend Lake Superior whitefish, potato salad, calico beans, coleslaw, rye bread and dessert plus milk, coffee or lemonade. Cost is $15 for adults; $8 for ages 6-11; ages 5 and younger eat free. Take-outs are available. This is a Knights of Columbus Scholarship Fund event, sponsored by the Fr. Day of prayer, Bruce
The Seven Sisters Apostolate of Prayer for Priests will hold a Day of Reflection at St. Mary, Bruce, Saturday, April 20, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The day is open to women interested in offering a weekly holy hour for priests. Turkey dinner, Cameron
St. Peter, Cameron, holds its annual grilled turkey dinner, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Menu includes all the fixings and homemade pie. Cost is $15; ages 5 and younger eat free. Call 715-458-4753 before 8 p.m. on April 20 to reserve seating time (11 a.m., noon, or 1 p.m.) Take-outs do not require a reservation. Bake sale and chance raffle. Called-in reservations are guaranteed; walk-in seating available as space allows.

Cathedral of Christ the King, Superior, holds their annual chicken dinner April 28, 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., or until sold out. Menu includes baked chicken, stuffing, mashed potatoes & gravy, vegetable medley, cranberries, coleslaw, dinner roll, beverages and desserts. Cost is $12 for adults and take-outs, and $8 for children ages 12 and younger, payable at the door.

Pasty sale, Superior
Knights of Columbus Council 499, Superior, holds a pasty sale. Cost: $5 for a 12 ounce pasty (filling: beef, potatoes, carrots, onions and rutabagas). Pasties will be available for pickup from noon to 4 p.m., both Friday and Saturday at St. Anthony Church, Superior. Pre-ordered pasties not picked up by 2 p.m. will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis until 4 p.m. Online orders accepted through Sept. 24. St. Andrew Dinner, Rice Lake
The Diocese of Superior vocations team invites all young men to an evening of prayer and discernment at a St. Andrew Dinner, 5:30-8:30 p.m., at St. Joseph, Rice Lake.
All young men in middle school, high school and beyond who are open to discerning God’s will in their lives are invited, along with their parents, to join priests, seminarians, their parents, and the vocations team for a meal, breakout sessions and panel discussion.
