April 28
Chicken dinner, Superior
Cathedral of Christ the King, Superior, holds their annual chicken dinner April 28, 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., or until sold out. Menu includes baked chicken, stuffing, mashed potatoes & gravy, vegetable medley, cranberries, coleslaw, dinner roll, beverages and desserts. Cost is $12 for adults and take-outs, and $8 for children ages 12 and younger, payable at the door.
Delivery within Superior city limits can be requested until 2 p.m. by calling 715-392-1661 on the day of the dinner. Accessible entrance (elevator) is on the Grand Avenue side of the church. 715-392-8511.

May 3-4, Superior
Pasty sale, Superior
Knights of Columbus Council 499, Superior, holds a pasty sale. Cost: $5 for a 12 ounce pasty (filling: beef, potatoes, carrots, onions and rutabagas). Pasties will be available for pickup from noon to 4 p.m., both Friday and Saturday at St. Anthony Church, Superior. Pre-ordered pasties not picked up by 2 p.m. will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis until 4 p.m. Online orders accepted through Sept. 24. St. Vincent de Paul retreat, Dobie
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul-St. Joseph Conference hosts the Superior District Council spiritual retreat for members and those interested in learning about becoming Vincentian.

Mother’s Day tea, Ladysmith

St. Andrew Dinner, Rice Lake
The Diocese of Superior vocations team invites all young men to an evening of prayer and discernment at a St. Andrew Dinner, 5:30-8:30 p.m., at St. Joseph, Rice Lake.
All young men in middle school, high school and beyond who are open to discerning God’s will in their lives are invited, along with their parents, to join priests, seminarians, their parents, and the vocations team for a meal, breakout sessions and panel discussion.
