Pilgrimage to La Crosse
St. Francis de Sales, Spooner, sponsors a pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, La Crosse. Trip includes travel by coach bus, self-guided walk around the grounds, Mass, on-site lunch, exploration of church relics, rosary walk, candle meditation and more. The Ashland Knights of Columbus hosts a Lake Superior whitefish dinner at the Our Lady of the Lake Social Hall, Thursday, Sept. 24, 4- 7 p.m.

Pasty sale, Superior
Knights of Columbus Council 499, Superior, holds a pasty sale. Cost: $5 for a 12-oz. pasty (filling: beef, potatoes, carrots, onions and rutabagas).
Pasties available for pick-up from noon to 4 p.m., Friday and Saturday, at St. Anthony Church, Superior. Pre-ordered pasties not picked up by 2 p.m. on Saturday will be sold until 4 p.m. Orders of 40 or more will be available after 2 p.m. on Friday.
