Nov. 19 Recycled Christmas, Hayward

Nov. 27 Candlelight River Walk in River Falls
On Sunday, Nov. 27, at 6:30 p.m., an Advent Candlelight River Walk will begin with a gathering at the Veteran’s Park on the Kinnickinnic River. Luminaria will light the way, but flashlights are encouraged.
In case of bad weather, the alternative location will be the First Congregational Church. This is an ecumenical event.
Nov. 30 Advent preparation at St. Anthony On Wednesday, Nov. 30, beginning at 6 p.m., an Advent preparation event titled “The Lord is coming … but why?” will take place at St. Anthony, Park Falls. The evening includes a soup supper and talks by Diocese of Superior employees Chris Hurtubise and JulieAnne Johnson, followed by adoration.
Dec. 3 Advent retreat in Eagle River

Dec. 7 Adoration event in Rice Lake
An adoration event will take place on Wednesday, Dec. 7, beginning with the vigil Mass for the Immaculate Conception at 5 p.m., with presentation and adoration to follow. Confession will be available.
Presenter will be Chris Magruder, executive producer of “The Veil Removed” film, speaking about the good news and learning tools that have come from the short production.
Dec. 8 Performance at St. Dominic
On Thursday, Dec. 8, at 7 p.m., “The 3 ½ stories of Christmas” will be told by TV star Frank Runyeon through a presentation that mixes humor, music and theater as the Nativity is recounted from the angels’ point of view. The event is at St. Dominic Church, Frederic.
