Talk on Franciscan mysticism, Woodruff
The Marywood Franciscan Spirituality Center will host a live and livestreamed event on mysticism in the Franciscan tradition, Saturday, July 10, at 2 p.m., at Holy Family, Woodruff. Guest speaker is Sr. Ramona Miller, OSF. She will discuss aspects of Franciscan mysticism and how it applies to everyday life. Bring a bag lunch. Cost is a freewill offering. SDCCW Convention, Medford

Aug. 9
Golf tournament, Eagle River
St. Peter the Fisherman, Eagle River, will hold the second annual “‘Fore!’ our Youth,” a golfing tournament fundraiser to benefit parish youth faith formation programs. The tournament will be held Monday, Aug. 9, at Eagle River Golf Course. A shotgun start for the four-person teams will be 8 a.m. Cost is $100 per person. All teams must be registered by Friday, July 30. There will also be raffles, a silent auction, and 50/50 drawing. Non-golfers are invited to attend lunch and raffles.
