Aug. 28
Fall festival, Rib Lake
Good Shepherd Church, Rib Lake, will hold a fall festival, Sunday, Aug. 28, starting with a 9:30 a.m. polka Mass.
A dinner will follow, serving 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until gone. Menu options are one-half chicken or beef tips, $12; one-quarter chicken or kielbasa and kraut dinner, $10; two-meat combo dinner, $12.
Dinner includes mashed potatoes, gravy, baked beans, cucumber salad, coleslaw, cheese, rolls, dessert, milk or coffee.
Activities begin at 10:30 a.m. with basket raffles, silent auction, kids’ games, guessing contest, 50/50 raffle, bean bags, shake of the day and paddle raffles. Plinko and 21 Aces will start at 1 p.m. 715-427-5259.

Sept. 3
Bake and crafts sale, Minong
The Tri-Parish of Solon Springs, Gordon, and Minong CCWM is hosting a bake and crafts in the foyer of Henson’s grocery store, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Proceeds benefit community projects. For more information, call Emily Stegmann, 209-969-2056.

Sept. 4
Outdoor polka Mass/dinner, Weyerhaeuser
Ss. Peter and Paul, Weyerhaeuser, will host a Labor Day chicken dinner and Mass under the tent.
Mass is at 10 a.m. Dinner begins at 11 a.m. Menu includes chicken, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, Polish sausage, sauerkraut, vegetable and pie.

Breakfast, Phillips
St. Therese of Lisieux, Phillips, will host an all-you-care-to-eat pancake and French toast breakfast, 8-11:30 a.m. Menu includes pancakes, French toast, sausage, eggs, applesauce, juice and coffee. Sept. 10
Day of remembrance, Phillips
There will be a 10 a.m. prayer service at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Phillips, to observe the national day of remembrance for aborted children. All are invited to pray for those affected by abortion. 715-339-4632.

Ham and meatloaf dinner, Pattison Park
St. William, Pattison Park, holds its annual ham and meatloaf dinner, 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Country garden, bake sale and silent auction. Harvest dinner, Phillips

Charismatic event rescheduled
The Diocese of Superior Charismatic Service Committee and Encounter Ministries announced their joint decision to reschedule the two-day School of Healing Retreat for the fall of 2023.
