As everyone knows, Pope Francis has proclaimed this year an Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy. As we gather to celebrate the Feast of Easter we rejoice in the ultimate source of God’s love and mercy. Through the death and resurrection of His only Son, our God offers us the gift of salvation, His merciful victory of life over death. Through the wounds of Jesus’ hands, feet and side our God mercifully heals the wounds of our lives caused by sin. As we continue to make our journey through this Year of Mercy may we grow in our awareness of God’s mercy and love, freely showered upon us, and our opportunities to share them with others.
As a saved people, as a Resurrected people may we rejoice always in the peace and joy of Easter and may the hope and happiness of spring be always in our hearts and minds.
May you know the love of the Risen Savior this Easter and always.
God Bless,
