Nearly 600 people attended the Diocese of Superior’s annual Chrism Mass Tuesday, April 4, at the Cathedral of Christ the King, Superior. The high point of the liturgical year, the Mass brings together priests, deacons, religious, seminarians and laity from across the diocese. Powers blessed the Oil of Catechumen and the Oil of the Sick and consecrated the Chrism. In his homily, the Bishop explained the sacramental importance of each oil and encouraged priests to pray “and allow God to refill your spiritual tank that you might have the grace to share with others.”
