Students and leaders from Phillips shared their knowledge of new songs with the residents of the three Pleasant View facilities July 27. St. Therese, Phillips, hosted Vacation Bible School with St. John Lutheran, First Presbyterian and United Methodist churches. Each day, students did crafts, learned new songs, played games, did activities and learned Bible stories from the ministers around the theme of Sonrise National Park. Each year the goal is to also teach children to give back to their community by performing for the elderly and to donate to a child-friendly cause. This year, a donation will be made to the Splash-Pad to be built in Phillips in 2018. (Submitted photo)
