Each year, the Holy Cross Sisters award FAME (Formation and Ministry Enablement) Grants as part of Catholic Schools Week. Schools receiving the grants have been served by the Holy Cross Sisters, taught sisters, or have a connection with associates. Of seven potential winning schools, those chosen to receive $1,000 grants were St. Francis Xavier Catholic School, Merrill; St. Benedict the Moor School, New Orleans; and Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School, Ashland.
