May 9-10
Pasty sale, Superior
Knights of Columbus Council 499, Superior, holds a pasty sale. Cost: $5 for a 12-oz. pasty (filling: beef, potatoes, carrots, onions and rutabagas). Pasties will be available for pick-up from noon to 4 p.m., Friday and Saturday, at St. Anthony Church, Superior. Pre-ordered pasties not picked up by 2 p.m. will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis until 4 p.m. Contact any Knight to order your pasties, or call Darryl, at 218-349-9165, or Tom, at 715-392-2061, or Al, at 715-364-2664, and leave a message if no answer. Life in the Spirit Seminar, Superior
Cathedral of Christ the King, Superior, hosts Life in the Spirit, 6:30-9 p.m. Friday, May 9, and 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Saturday, May 10. Speakers are Fr. Andrew Ricci, Dcn. Arthur Gil de Lamadrid, Dcn. Timothy Thom and Mary Joan Sutton. Cost is $20 and includes snacks, lunch and materials. To register, call 715-392-8511. Space is limited to 40.

Mother’s Day tea, Ladysmith
A Mother’s Day tea takes place from 10 a.m. to noon at Our Lady of Sorrows School gym, Ladysmith. Theme is “Image of our Mother.” Menu includes brunch, beverages, fruit and sweets. Fellowship, door prizes and more. Tickets are $10. Hosted by the OLS PCCW to benefit local charities. 715-532-3232.

Priest jubilee, Eagle River

Spring Luncheon, Lac du Flambeau
St. Anthony Women’s Club, Lac du Flambeau, hosts their 63rd annual spring luncheon. Menu includes soups, sandwiches, salad, coffee and dessert. Door prizes and raffles.
