May 9-10
Pasty sale, Superior
Knights of Columbus Council 499, Superior, holds a pasty sale. Cost: $5 for a 12-oz. pasty (filling: beef, potatoes, carrots, onions and rutabagas). Pasties will be available for pick-up from noon to 4 p.m., Friday and Saturday, at St. Anthony Church, Superior. Pre-ordered pasties not picked up by 2 p.m. will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis until 4 p.m. Contact any Knight to order your pasties, or call Darryl, at 218-349-9165, or Tom, at 715-392-2061, or Al, at 715-364-2664, and leave a message if no answer. Life in the Spirit Seminar, Superior
Cathedral of Christ the King, Superior, hosts Life in the Spirit, 6:30-9 p.m. Friday, May 9, and 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Saturday, May 10. Speakers are Fr. Andrew Ricci, Dcn. Mother’s Day tea, Ladysmith
