Fish fry, Ashland
Our Lady of the Lake, Ashland, hosts a fish fry at their social hall, 4-7 p.m. Menu includes fish, potato salad, baked beans, coleslaw, rye bread, dessert and beverage. Fish fry, Ladysmith
The Ladysmith Knights of Columbus will host Lenten fish fries every Friday during Lent, 4:30-6 p.m., at the Our Lady of Sorrows School gym. Menu includes baked or fried fish, baked potato or French fries, rolls, coleslaw, cake, milk or coffee. Dine-in or take-out. Cost: $13 for adults; $7 for students; preschoolers eat free. Chicken dinner, Superior
Cathedral of Christ the King, Superior, holds their annual chicken dinner, 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., or until sold out. Menu includes baked chicken, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable, coleslaw, dinner rolls and beverage, along with a selection of desserts. Knights of Columbus Council 499, Superior, holds a pasty sale. Cost: $5 for a 12-oz. pasty (filling: beef, potatoes, carrots, onions and rutabagas).
