African Children’s Choir to visit Superior
The African Children’s Choir will celebrate their 50th choir tour with a program called “Just As I Am.” The tour will stop in Superior Friday, Nov. 15, at the Central Assembly of God Church. The free concert will start at 7 p.m.; however, freewill offerings are accepted to support African Children’s Choir programs for education, relief and development initiatives. The choir’s parent organization, Music for Life, works in Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and South Africa, and has educated more than 52,000 children and impacted the lives of more than 100,000 people through their funded programs. They have been privileged to perform with many notable artists and before state dignitaries, most recently the queen of England. More information is at www.africanchildrenschoir.com.
