On Oct. 10, an America Needs Fatima public square rosary rally was held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Hayward. The rally commemorated the anniversary of Mary’s Fatima apparitions; her message included a daily rosary prayer for world peace; a call for repentance, conversion of life, and ending sin; sacrifices offered up for the conversion of sinners; and devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The Miracle of the Sun was on Oct. 13, 1917, and was witnessed by 70,000 people in Fatima, Portugal. (Submitted photo)
