On Sunday, July 26, St. Anne Church in Sanborn celebrated the Feast of Saints Anne and Joachim, parents of the Blessed Virgin Mary, with a Mass followed by refreshments and fellowship. As one of the rural parishes in the Mellen Cluster, St. Anne welcomed parishioners and visitors to honor its patron saint. Fr. Sunder Reddy Vadireddy, parochial administrator, encourages each parish to celebrate its patronal feast day, not only to honor each parish’s heritage and patron saint, but also to build greater unity across the parish community.
