A Clear Lake native has joined a cloistered Carmelite order in the Diocese of Green Bay.
The Monastery of the Holy Name of Jesus in Denmark is home of the Discalced Carmelite Nuns of the Order of Our Blessed Lady of Mount Carmel.

Hillary Friendshuh, now Sr. Teresita, graduated Clear Lake High School in 2009 and attended UW-Madison from 2009-2013. She entered the monastery last spring and is now a novice of the order.

A former parishioner at St. John Catholic Church, Clear Lake, Sr. Teresita is the daughter of Brian Friendshuh and Victoria Robinson.

As a cloistered novice, Sr. Teresita is unable to give interviews. Her parents could not be reached for comment.
