Price County Respect Life entered the annual July 4th parade in Phillips and won first place in the category of “Best Theme Oriented Walking Group.” Women pushed four strollers, three with dolls and one left empty. “We had posters that read ‘Every Fourth Baby Dies From Abortion,’” said Patti McCormick. “There were 57 entries in the parade … and we were so pleased that the judges decided that our walkers were so impressive (with such a controversial subject).” The organization joined their local Chamber of Commerce several years ago and attend chamber events as a form of community outreach.
