On Saturday, May 14, Ss. Peter and Paul, Moquah, held their annual May crowning. The crowning has been a tradition for the last 31 years, since the parish’s outdoor shrine to Our Lady of the Rosary was built in memory of the late Tom and Phil Johanik, who both died at a young age due to complications from Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
