New Catholic high school opening in Twin Cities
A new Catholic high school will be opening in Burnsville, in the south Twin Cities metro area, next fall, according to an article published in The Catholic Spirit, the newspaper for the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. A retired NFL player and a local Catholic businessman are collaborating on the project, the article said.

Latin Mass and Christmas market in La Crosse
Cardinal Raymond Burke will preside at a Solemn Pontifical High Mass at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse. A Christkindlmarkt, a traditional German Christmas market, will take place on the grounds from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. the weekend of Dec. 15-16. The market includes homemade items, German foods and more. Other events at the shrine include a St. Nicholas Celebration for Children the first Saturday of December and Bambinelli on Sunday, Dec. 16. Adoration event
