St. Albert Catholic Church
St. Albert Parish, Land O’ Lakes, is hosting a fish fry benefit Friday, April 17 to help a local family.
To date, the annual event has raised more than $10,000 for charitable causes in the area. This year’s profits will be donated to the family of Olivia Allard.
A student at Watersmeet Township School, the fifth-grader was diagnosed with leukemia last summer. Money raised will help the Allard family cover incidental costs associated with chemotherapy treatments.
The menu includes all-you-can-eat broiled or fried fish, baked beans, potato salad, coleslaw, fresh bread and desserts. Cost is $12 for ages 12 and older; $6 for ages 6-11; and free for ages 5 and younger. Advance tickets are $10. Call 715-547-3558 for more information.
