Kevin Koski, a senior and cross country runner at Chequamegon High School, Park Falls, is the 2015 male winner of the Wendy’s High School Heisman Award for Wisconsin.
Son of Gary and Ann Koski, Kevin is a 2012 graduate of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School. He serves as a reader at St. Anthony of Padua Parish, and is involved in many activities at church, his school and community.
Kevin is a two-time WIAA Division 3 state cross country champion, having won state titles as a junior and senior. He also excels in the classroom, maintaining a 3.984 grade point average.
Since 1994, Wendy’s High School Heisman has honored well-rounded young men and women who excel in learning, performing, and leading in the classroom, on the field, and in the community. One male and one female are honored in each state each year. This year’s female winner is Jada Dayne, of Waunakee.
Ten national finalists were to be announced the week of Nov. 23.
