Fr. Ed Anderson

Fr. Ed Anderson, pastor of St. Joseph, Rice Lake; Our Lady of Lourdes, Dobie; Holy Trinity, Haugen; and St. John the Baptist, Birchwood, is celebrating the 10th anniversary of his ordination to the diocesan priesthood.
Born in Aberdeen, South Dakota, he attended schools in Redfield, South Dakota, and later earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics.

He studied at Sacred Heart School of Theology, Hales Corner, and the University of Jamestown and was ordained June 29, 2008, at the Cathedral of Christ the King, Superior, by Bishop Peter F. Christensen. His assignments have included serving parishes in Foxboro, Superior, Shell Lake, Spooner, Sarona and Lake Nebagamon; serving on the Presbyteral Council and St. Pius Priest Fund board of directors; and serving as chaplain of the Knights of Columbus and Boy and Girl Scouts.

Fr. John Anderson

Fr. John Anderson, pastor of St. Patrick, Erin Prairie, and Immaculate Conception, New Richmond, is celebrating the 25th anniversary of his ordination to the diocesan priesthood.

Born in New Richmond, he attended schools in New Richmond and later earned a bachelor’s degree in religious studies and a master’s degree in divinity.

He studied at Sacred Heart School of Theology, Hales Corner, and Cardinal Stritch University and was ordained June 4, 1993, in New Richmond by Bishop Raphael M. Fliss. His assignments have included serving parishes in Rice Lake, Superior, Ladysmith, Hawkins, Tony, Tomahawk, and others; serving on various diocesan boards and the Presbyteral Council; serving as dean of the East Deanery; and serving as chaplain of the local Knights of Columbus council.

Fr. Kevin Gordon

Fr. Kevin Gordon, Episcopal Vicar for Clergy and pastor of Holy Family, Bayfield; St. Ann, Cornucopia; St. Joseph, La Pointe; St. Louis, Washburn; St. Francis, Red Cliff, is celebrating the 35th anniversary of his ordination to the diocesan priesthood.

Born in Hayward, he attended schools in Red Cliff and Illinois before earning several degrees in the medical field. He studied at Sacred Heart School of Theology, Hales Corner, and the University of Iowa and was ordained to the diocesan priesthood July 31, 1983, by Bishop Raphael Fliss at St. Francis Church, Red Cliff.
His assignments have included serving as director of Vocations, serving as pastor of parishes in Superior, Rice Lake, Solon Springs, Pattison Park, Minong and others; serving as dean of the Northwest Deanery; serving on various diocesan boards and councils; and serving as chaplain for the local Knights of Columbus council.
