Religious education students from Holy Assumption, Superior, joined the Red Nose Day campaign to end child poverty during their final class celebration April 19. “We were just kind of having an informal treat night,” explained religious education teacher Kathy Berry, who provided 27 red noses for the occasion. “We always do talk about the less fortunate.” Berry purchased the noses at Walgreens, which sponsors the international fundraiser.
