Respect Life event Oct. 8

GLOBAL.diocesan shieldAward-winning pro-life author Chad Judice will speak at a diocesan Respect Life event Saturday, Oct. 8, at Holy Rosary, Medford.

Judice, whose books tell the story of Eli, his son with special needs, is a nationally known retreat coach and speaker.

Barbara Sella, associate director of the Wisconsin Catholic Conference, will also speak at the 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. event.

Cost is $15 in advance or $20 at the door.

Bus rides from Rice Lake and Superior are available for $10. Seating is limited; Sept. 30 is the deadline to reserve a seat.

The bus loads at the Cathedral parking lot, Superior, at 6:30 a.m., and loads in the parking lot at St. Joseph, Rice Lake, at 8:15 a.m.

Estimated return times are 7 p.m. in Rice Lake and 8:30 p.m. in Superior.

  1. Thank you to Pope Francis message in the Laudato si message. “Praise be” the care of the creation and respect of the home.
    I am proud to have a copy of the text. I developed my simple creed as:
