Deacon Arthur Gil de Lamadrid, chairman of the Diocese of Superior Catholic Committee on Scouting, was awarded the Boy Scouts’ Bronze Pelican Award in recognition of his service. The award was presented Sunday, Feb. 5, at the Cathedral of Christ the King, Superior. The award honors an adult’s contribution to the spiritual development of Catholic Scouts.
