Sr. Claudine Balio, a teacher at St. Joseph School, Rice Lake, received a commendation from the State of Wisconsin May 4. Presenting the award was State Rep. Romaine Quinn, a graduate of St. Joseph School. Sr. Claudine was commended for her 50 years as a Sister of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis, as well as her 25 years of service as a teacher at St. Joseph School. (Submitted photo)
