Fr. Leo Patalinghug

“The Cooking Priest,” Fr. Leo Patalinghug, is coming to Rice Lake on Wednesday, Jan. 17, for a fun-filled evening of cooking, faith and karate.

Fr. Patalinghug, who hails from Baltimore, is the host of EWTN’s Savoring Our Faith show, a cookbook author and creator of an international food and faith movement, Grace before Meals.

Featured on many national television shows, including “Throwdown! with Bobby Flay” on The Food Network (where he beat Bobby Flay with his Fusion Fajitas), Fr. Patalinghug is sought out as a motivational speaker who aims to bring people closer together one meal at a time.

Adults and youths age 11 and older are invited to attend Fr. Patalinghug’s Grace before Meals event from 6:15-7:45 p.m. in the St. Joseph’s School gymnasium, 128 W. Humbird Street.

The cost is a freewill offering.

The priest will give two talks, “Saints in the Making” and “Spiritual Combat,” and a cooking demonstration. He will also prepare a favorite dessert recipe for the audience to try.

Register at www.bit.ly/FrLeo18 by Jan. 8 to attend.
