The spirit of the Year of Mercy continues to flow through the Diocese of Superior, inspiring Catholics in their liturgical celebrations. The Easter festivities in the cluster of Gilman, Sheldon, Lublin and Jump River began with walking through the Door of Mercy into the new life of Jesus. Inspired by Fr. Madanu Sleeva Raju, pastor of the Gilman cluster, parishioners decorated a Door of Mercy and, in Ss. Peter and Paul, Gilman, created an empty tomb to signify the Resurrection. (Submitted photo)
