Youth groups collected 286 pounds of nonperishable items in the Winter area Wednesday, Oct. 11. They met at St. Peter’s Church for chili and instructions, and 20 children and chaperones boarded a hay wagon, received a blessing from Fr. Jerome D’Souza and collected items from local businesses and residents. Items were donated to Harvest of Friends Food Pantry. (Submitted photo)
