Members of the student council at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School in Ladysmith assembled birthday celebration kits to donate to their local food pantry. Kits included a happy birthday banner, cake mix with a can of Sprite (to replace the oil and eggs), frosting and candles packaged in a disposable cake pan with an explanatory note.
