Two song leaders from the Balsam Lake parish have teamed up to release a compilation of sacred music.
“I Call Your Name,” is a live studio recording by Voce Servus, a duo composed of Carmelite Sr. Kristine Haugen and Rachel Peterson.
Sr. Kristine is a hermit living in Amery. She and Peterson have served as song leaders at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church for four years.
The album, a blend of 11 classic hymns, devotional songs and contemporary works, is dedicated to Our Lady of the Lakes parishioners.
Cost of the CD is $10, a portion of which will be donated to the parish.
This is Sr. Kristine’s second album. Her solo collection is titled “Music from a Hermitage.”
