Students in the Barron Cluster Faith Formation program brought their packed Boxes of Joy to a Faith in Action event on Oct. 30. They wrote letters and added photos to their boxes and spent time in the church praying over the gifts and praying for the children who will receive them. The Barron Cluster has been packing and donating Christmas shoeboxes for 16 years, and serving as a drop site for Cross Catholic Outreach’s Box of Joy ministry for six years. This year, they shipped 378 Boxes of Joy, including 234 from the Ladysmith Cluster and 144 from their own cluster youth and parishes of St. Peter, Cameron; St. Boniface, Chetek; Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Strickland; and St. Joseph, Barron.
