Holy Rosary students recently collected and presented used eyeglasses to Medford Lion Shirley Lemke. The glasses will be shipped to the Wisconsin Lions Foundation Eyeglass Recycling Center in Rosholt. They are then sorted, washed and packaged based on prescription strength. When requested, the glasses will be shipped to developing countries, where Lions volunteers and eye care professionals will dispense the appropriate glasses, free of charge, to needy children and adults.
