Students and teens wait outside the conference room during lunch break Saturday, Sept. 30, at the Diocese of Superior’s God’s Gift: To Love Every Body event at UW-Superior’s Yellowjacket Union, Superior. Speakers Gloria Purvis and Nic Davidson spoke on current issues related to Respect Life themes, including authentic Catholic feminism, gender confusion and fluidity in secular culture, and the media’s glorification of the late Playboy founder Hugh Heffner.
