Ninth- and 10th-grade students hosted two soup suppers during March to raise money for SMART boards in the religious education classrooms; donations exceeded $1,000 and the boards and equipment will be installed this summer. (Submitted photos)

Fourth-graders from St. Therese of Lisieux, Phillips, are shown finishing their last act of mercy for the year. Under the direction of Patty McCormick and Karen Tingo, they made a denim quilt of squares decorated by the students. The quilt will be given to a family in need from the community.
