Describe your faith community
“St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church has served the Park Falls area since 1904. St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School opened in the fall of 1922. Many in our parish community have long histories of family membership, some tracing their roots to the earliest settlers of the area.”
“When visitors come to our parish, they will …
… be welcomed by a warm and caring congregation.”
In what way(s), does your parish proclaim the Gospel with its actions?
“The primary ministry of our parish is providing Catholic education. Ours is the only parochial school within about a 60-mile radius.
Our parish is also a strong supporter of The Lord’s Cupboard Food Pantry, which serves families from Park Falls and surrounding communities.”
What is something about your parish most people might not know?
“The stained glass windows, Stations of the Cross and tabernacle in our church, which was constructed in 1975, are from the former church, which was in the school building. The former church is now the Holy Dome — our school gymnasium.
