A yearlong 125th anniversary celebration at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Whittlesey, culminated with a Mass and chicken dinner, Sunday, Aug. 28.
Bishop James P. Powers concelebrated the Mass with the parish’s current pastor, Fr. Philip Juza; former pastor, Fr. Gerard Willger; Fr. Fredrick Brost; and Fr. Dennis Meuleman.
In anticipation of the culmination of the anniversary celebration, a different event was scheduled each month, including father-son and mother-daughter banquets, a bus trip to a Brewers game, and several other events.
