International speaker talks chastity, gender clarity

Rice Lake’s St. Joseph Church and clustered parishes welcomed almost 400 people between Friday night and Saturday morning for a two-day mission March 21-22.

Fifth-graders at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School, Ashland, enjoyed a presentation by Lisa Weispfenning of Washburn, who swam across the English Channel in August with three other women from Northwest Wisconsin.

Missional OCIA and the goal of Christian life

The Rite of Promise of the St. Juliana Community of the Secular Servites took place at the Servite sisters’ residence in Ladysmith, on Wednesday, March 19.

On March 8, Pastor Fr. Ron Serrao presided at the Rite of Sending for the Northern Lakes Catholic Communities, a five-parish cluster in eastern Vilas County.

Christ the King Cathedral’s organist and professor of organ at UW-Superior, Rachael Kresha, was invited to perform at Bach festivals in Madison and Saint Paul in March to celebrate the composer’s 340th birthday.
