The children of St. Therese of Lisieux, Phillips, presented their Christmas pageant, complete with carols, shepherds, angels, stars, animals, Mary, Joseph and an infant boy in the role of baby Jesus.

As the morning darkness inside Our Lady of Lourdes, Dobie, was lit only by candles, the silence was broken by chanting voices. Frs. Adam Laski and Isaiah Schick led the medieval prayer, Rorate Caeli, singing each verse in Latin while the faithful joined in the refrain: “Rorate Caeli, desuper, et nubes pluant justum.”

For the past several years, George and Rita Kalmon have donated a Veteran Bow Hunt to the Holy Rosary Parish and School Celebration for Education fundraising event in Medford.

The second and fourth talks in the series led by Chris Janssens at St. Joseph, Rice Lake, focused on the church building proper. Showing another video available at Formed.org, “The Church Building,” the meaning of the structure of a church was explored.
