Every year, educators, parish staff, faith formation leaders and clergy gather in Rice Lake for the Diocese of Superior’s annual Fall Conference.
“The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing,” Chris Hurtubise, associate director of Catholic Formation for the Diocese of Superior, said to catechists and parish leaders Sept. 21 during the second of two virtual fall workshops. He was quoting catechetical speaker Ryan O’Hara.
“No doubt there are countless Catholic churches across America who have special members who put in many hours helping out in their churches. Our candidate for the Pax Christi Award is beyond comparison in this regard. It would take at least 10 people to fill her shoes.
Thirty-four people participated in the Diocese of Superior’s Charismatic Renewal Fall Conference Sept. 26 at Our Lady of Sorrows in Ladysmith.
